Product Manager

We are Sensorical and we are looking for the entrepreneurial product manager who will form the core of our team and will lead the further development of a platform that brings the world of Internet of Things in an easy, reliable, comprehensive, and consistent manner closer to the retail customers. Together with founders you will form the product strategy and drive the product roadmap from concept development to market leadership for a smart and connected technology platform. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for understanding and translating the business needs of commercial IOT cases into a compelling technology solution that generates mutual revenue for both OEM vendors and solution integrators through a Marketplace for retail customers. This is a unique opportunity at Sensorical to play a highly visible role to develop and execute on a product strategy that is both compelling and achievable as a result of combining a deep understanding of customer and partner needs with our smart and connected technology capabilities. The Product Manager will work closely with market development, engineering and operations to define and manage product releases. This role reports to the CEO and the selected candidate will join a highly motivated and growing team charged with incubating and commercializing new IOT technologies.


  • Understand market outlook and ecosystem evolution of smart and connected devices as well as platforms for different customer segments and go-to-market in different segments;

  • Develop monetization strategies and pricing models for solution offerings, including creating innovative new revenue/business models;

  • Build deep customer empathy for typical use cases experienced by each stakeholder (e.g. OEM vendor, solution integrator, retail customers, etc.)

  • Synthesize product requirements and develop a differentiated product strategy for integrated solutions consisting of wireless sensors, network platforms, data platform and Marketplace;

  • Define the multi-generation product roadmap, determining which devices and features should be prioritized across each customer segment and go-to-market channel;

  • Facilitate product/solution development in collaboration with engineering;

  • Lead product positioning and value proposition development for each customer segment and go-to-market channel;

  • Creation and fulfillment of customer database, as well as make them be dependent from the platform. Constant monitoring of potential customers activities and bringing new opportunities to the customers to widen their sales, with the help of the Sensorical platform.


  • 3+ years work experience performing relevant product management or related job function;

  • Degree in engineering, or related quantitative field;

  • Experience in management of software platforms and tiered product offerings that serve multiple vertical markets

  • Strong understanding of the principles of IoT solution architecture and development including analytics, compute infrastructure, networking, operating systems, connectivity protocols, sensors, open APIs, etc.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial LoraWAN networks, telematics, and/or IOT solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive complex product definition and development with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

  • Outstanding organizational and project management skills, especially the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities being executed by multiple teams using processes such as Agile, SAFe;

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment and deliver results despite the ambiguity and complexity typically associated with emerging markets;

  • Structured thinking with analytical skills;

  • Desire to make a significant impact in a high growth environment;

  • Energetic, collaborative, self-motivated and autonomous;

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% across Europe and CIS;
